Which Frequent Flyer Program has the best redemptions?
Quick Jump to North America | Carib/Mex/Hawaii | Europe
This is a question asked on a daily basis by many who are looking for the best bang for their buck or in this case their miles. In this section of Rewards Canada we will look at how 40 different airline frequent flyer programs stack up against each other in the number of miles required to redeem for those 'free' or 'reward' tickets for flights departing Canada.

Each chart will show the number of miles for flights in Economy, Business, and First Class for each general reward area around the world, for example rewards for flights to destinations within North America. The charts also show discounted reward rates if a program offers them as well as whether you as a Canadian can earn miles in that program with a Canadian Credit Card. Why? Well other then flying the credit card is the easiest way to earn miles in a reward program.

You will also find our choices of the top three programs for each sub-section of each chart listed below in terms of the miles required. The top three also takes into account the coverage that the airline or it's redemption partners offer to Canadians, that is to say an airline who has a really good redemption rate from Canada to the US (ie 15,000 miles) but only offers one flight will more then likely not make the top three list.
