In what looks to be a slight rebound in traffic, Air Canada has reinstated flights to Nagoya, Japan. Service will be offered 5x weekly from Vancouver with a 767-300. Calgary to London Heathrow will see an increase from 7 to 9 flights per week, which will drop Ottawa to LHR service from 7 to 5 times a week. A third daily Toronto-Frankfurt flight has been added until March 28.

Horizon Airlines has announced that it will extend service to Kamloops until June 05, 2004. Previously this seasonal service was to end on April 04.

Westjet Airlines posted it's 28th consecutive quarter of profitability for the period ending Dec. 31, 2003. Westjet stated that the earnings in this quarter were diluted by an increase in corporate income tax from the Government of Ontario. When will Canada give the airlines and their consumers (well actually, all Canadians) a break from all these crazy taxes! My guess is never. Read the full press release here.
